Tighter Curfews Proposed

Local girl gets in trouble an hour before curfew
Pleasant Valley has seen an increase in crime lately. Whether it be during the day or late at night, it is definitely on the rise. Just look out your window and you will see gang signs bullet holes. The problem isn’t just in Pleasant Valley, but the police director of Pleasant Valley wants to be proactive.
The police chief has it in for kids and teens alike. Therefore, he has propsed to increase the curfew hours for any person under the age of 20. His proposed hours start at 9:30 PM and end at 5 AM from the original 11 PM to 4 AM.
When asked why he is doing this, he simply said that it was in the best interest for the community. However, The Sims Times has obtained a exclusive email from one of his officers claiming that his goal is to damage the life of a teen in the Valley. For those teens out there who are used to going to the movies around 9 or 9:30 at night, plan on being home by that time.
Along with a new curfew, he is proposing stronger punishments for those caught outside during the restricted times. The consequences are still being worked on, but The Sims Times has learned he is proposing to take away the right to a cell phone for those teens with one.
If you think this is unfair and uncalled for, you can voice your opinion at the next Board Meeting.
