Will a Donut Shortage Lead to Strike Action?

The abundance of fresh, sugary, delicious donuts is what keeps our local police force on top of the crime throughout our city. However concerning news about a possible donut shortage is causing concern among our police force.

The head of the PDA, Police Donut Alliance, issued this statement earlier today, “If the donuts run out, so do we. It’s simple, if you cannot supply our Police Force with Donuts, we will be forced to strike. None of us want this, but what is the alternative? The public may face riots, a major increase in crime rates and other terrible events if we do go ahead with a general strike, but working without donuts? The public will understand and fully support our plight, I have no doubt”.

The potential donut shortage has been caused in part by the decline in fillings, which we find hard to understand when the Police supply of donuts are of the ring donut variety.
