Talking Gnome Found, Owners Swimming in Money

Today, Benny Cake and Jenny Cake of 13 Macaroon Lane, were surprised to see their garden gnome Yakko talking at the family barbeque yesterday afternoon. “I remember laying down beside my sister for a photo, and this strange, squaky voice replied in my ear, “Am I going to die?”. I nearly fell into my sis’s flower bush. She thought I had drunk too many martini’s and fell backwards to puke. How wrong was she when she heard it saying the same thing ten minutes later. We called the GBA (Gnome Buster Association) and they were over in about 15 minutes.”
“I couldn’t believe the amount of people showing up to see this gnome!” said Jenny in an interview. “There were reality tv show producers wanting me to sign their contract for a new reality show called “Mister Gnome and Me” and they were kids jumping up and down, wanting to see it. It was unbelievable!”
After the GBA checked out the gnome and snagged a few burgers, they said that they would keep the gnome under a watchful eye, and if the Cake’s don’t mind to cajole with it, then they would sell him for that reality TV show.
